The Warrior shot 50 3s. If you paid any attention to the game at all you would see the Warriors driving into the paint shooting floaters instead of going in hard looking for contact. I wonder why that is - could be best defensive 5 in basketball but I dunno.

Is the theory here that the NBA is conspiring to tank the Warriors? The team that features the League’s golden boy and has won four of the last eight titles? The team that features Draymond Green who should be ejected from every single game but the refs swallow their whistle? The team that is propped up by 50 blatantly illegal screens per game?

Yeah the FT disparity in this series wasn’t ref related it was more team offensive philosophy related. The Lakers are a drive to the basket and create contact team while the Warriors are the exact opposite. Give the Lakers credit, they played their game better than the Warriors all series and won because of it.

If you have a head coach that is smart enough to play to their strength that is what you should do. The Lakers, as a group, are going to the rim hard. Between AD and LeBron when he sets up low they are rim running and the competition can only foul away. In fact, I would argue that LeBron, when he gets deep in the paint is almost impossible to stop, even in his 20th year.
