He’s great player just not reallly a true leader of men. All the greats had incredible respect from their teammates. I think the contract issues showed he was not all in . I’m happy of the outcome.
Did you see his interview after the game? I only caught part of it but I thought it was awesome.
I personally put more blame on Mark Andrews than I do Lamar (though the QB is always going to get the majority of the blame from the media), and there was reporter trying to bait him into blaming it on Andrews. But he just talked about how nobody feels more bad for Mark than him and they love him. Talked about how hard of a worker he is and what a good season he had and then put blame on himself. Definitely sounded like a leader.
Not sure how you could say he doesn't have the respect of his teammates. Kind of a ridiculous claim.

Would you say Lamar was a good bit better than Allen last night? Lamar had a higher passer rating. He literally had a 115 rating last night and Allen had an 87.
This thread is just kind of laughable. The guy is not a fraud, he's a fantastic quarterback. I think Allen gets over the hump this year but unfortunately for him and Lamar they came along the same time as Mahomes and Andy Reid. Neither one of these guys should be knocked for not winning a Super Bowl yet, much less being labeled a fraud.
If Lamar gets the MVP this year it's going to just add to the hate people have for him. I think he deserves it this year, last year is when Allen (or Dak honestly) should have won it.

Allen:
65.7 %—313 yds—2.5 tds—0.33 ints—101.5 rating
Lamar
60.58%—299 yds—1.63 tds—0.88 ints—84.6 rating
Is fraud too harsh? Yes. But he hasn’t been the same person in the playoffs
Playoff teams usually do a great job of doing what you do best. Can you find another way to succeed? Lamar hasn’t done that overall yet
