I dont understand why tech has this sense of over inflated importance... We are amazing because we have BOISE in our conference. What a crock of shite. Tech won the conference once? Thats impressive...

I know you're referring to the little 1978 to 1981 period or whatever, where you beat 3 teams that are now in 1A one year, and 2 current 1A teams the other year. You can sit and try to be technical like that all you want, but SINCE ULM ACTUALLY MOVED UP FROM 1AA TO 1A, THEY HAVE NOT HAD A WINNING SEASON. That other little stretch is bullshite because you played mostly current 1AA teams anyway.

You're wrong. ULM has not had a winning season in Division 1A football. I see two 6-6 seasons, but NO winning seasons. You don't know what you're talking about. ULM joined Division 1A in 1994 and has not had a winning record since. They went 6-6 in 2007 and 2009. That is not a winning record, no matter how you fantasize that it is.

It would seem that ULM thinks that my post does cover all years they were in.
Unless you are holding onto some random trivia fact about every team being considered "Div-I" before Div-IAA was formed in 1978.
