Any recruit who buys this charlatans BS is plain dumb.
Guy is fast becoming the new Big Game Bob Stoops.
Clown of a coach. Learned all the shenanigans from Saban but lacks Saban grit and fire to be elite. Cheating can only get you so far recruiting. You have to coach too dumb frick.

I kinda wonder if he isn’t just a flash in the pan whose time will come and go once his recruiting cools off

Won't take long for recruits and their coaching staffs to recognize a charlatan when they see one. Sample size is getting larger and he is quickly uncovering the veil of being a first class salesman with no butter.
Texas absolutely wrecked their shite coaching wise and having their players dialed in. It was a clinic.
And no, I did not bet. I don't bet sports or anything for that matter.

So Saban is right then? Bowls are becoming meaningless because of the playoff? Even New Years Bowls mean little except to the underdogs who have little chance for the playoffs.

The college football either has to go bigger with more teams in the playoff or risk their bowl seasons becoming worse every year in terms of attendance, competition, and TV viewership.
Texas wasn't getting into the playoff. This was their playoff. Georgia blew it against Alabama and as someone said, it meant little and losing doesn't mean shite to the kids who aren't of a competitive nature. And there are kids like that.

Have to admit that this year I have not been impresssed at all with his in-game coaching. Odd decisions, doesn’t seem how to know how to use his strengths and mask weaknesses on offense.
He just seems to kind of be getting by on talent alone. Let’s see if he can keep the talent coming in.

He's proving that he can get the talent to Athens. He's less than great at getting that talent to play up to its potential.

Exactly right.
Seems he only shows up for 3 and a half quarters of coaching a great game plan with his staff against Alabama and just has better players against everyone else.
LSU had equal to better talent and exposed Georgia and that staff for what they are.
Tonight Texas and their staff both had a better game plan and also in game coaching was superb with their decisions throughout the course of the affair.
Smart looks so dumb so often on the sideline like he is a lost child.
Now he loses the best player in America not named Trevor Lawrence to Ohio St.
