He has been towing the line under Pat Haden's supervision, so I don't see that changing.

He made a good impression on me with the team's results last season, and I hope he'll keep up the good work.

After all, you can't sanction the end zone.

10-2 is a good finish with a bunch of young players with no chance of a bowl game. It's impressive. A top 10 finish in the middle of sanctions is impressive. Hauling in another top recruiting class (limited by sanctions) is a testament to that.

As we've seen from LSU's recent interaction with Bama, great recruiting and coaching translate into success on the field.

Our depth is somewhat limited by the sanctions, but worst case I think we lose 3 games, best case we might just win it all.

This is the first of three seasons capped at 15 schollies. Bowl ban is over.

We took 12 so that carries over 3 to next season. We have had some transfers, so that's opened up a few schollies too.

Beyond the two deep there isn't a whole lot of cushion, so injuries and academic/behavioral issues could be a factor in making it very difficult to win a MNC this season.

The talent there makes it possible to win it all, and the schedule beyond Oregon and Stanford isn't that bad.

haha are you joking? Alabama and LSU actually have to compete with each other (as well as a few others) in this region for recruits.

If you don't get the best recruits in the west it's just pathetic. The only other team out there with any kind of football history is Stanford.

I love your confidence in Lane Kiffin though. It will make for a great meltdown eventually. He's like the Darren McFadden of CFB coaches

He was always supposed to do something, and he's been good enough to stick around... but he'll never be Saban. He'll never be Miles, or Harbaugh, or Stoops. Hell, he probably won't even be a Chip Kelly.

If a 3 loss season in the middle of what was supposed to be "near death penalty" sanctions is the worst it gets, I'll take it.

Damn straight I'll enjoy it. But I'll enjoy it even more if USC does better than that.
