Ive always wondered why it has to be news that someone is gay. There should be a thread about each known sports guy in the world saying that they are straightf as well if you ask me.

What stupid logic, nobody cares that you are straight. A lot of people care if someone is gay, that's just the way it is. You may not care, I don't care, but one way or the other, a lot of people care

I don't think any Pirates season ticket holder during his ownership should be surprised since he was fricking them up the arse with the crappy teams he put on the field.

Majority?meh...even 10 years ago coming out was pretty accepted. I don't think a majority have a problem with it..I think a majority are indifferent. If you want to be treated equal I think news story about who is and isn't gay goes against equality. I have multiple gay family members that think as long as it's news gays will bw considered different, when it's not news is when it's truly accepted
