Young posted the Isaiah Thomas clip from The Last Dance about "meeting the criteria but not being selected" yesterday and Ja retweeted it.
Ja posted something yesterday that seemed like he was talking about an invite, but quickly posted "that's not what it meant"

Team USA has lost the eye of the tiger.
That’s the problem. Nobody’s hungry. We need to go for the throat every four years and dunk like animals on the corrupt-arse Olympics every chance we get.
But no. We have to do this song and dance every once in a while where we go embarrass ourselves so that NEXT time we do it, there will be hell to pay.
How about we just pretend that happened before every Olympics instead? Save us all a lot of time and energy.

Trae Young would be starting at PG for this team, but defensively he and Dame would get eaten alive.
I would still love to have Trae on the team though.
