I mean it’s more than well deserved for him outside of when he does one off dramatic roles

I doubt the movie will even focus on the why of the suspension, just an in passing kind of thing.

It will almost solely focus on the little league football aspect and I'm sure be totally wacky

That would make more sense, just a few lines about he was suspended for paying players or something like that

Guessing the pain killer addiction won’t make the directors cut

It would help Kevin James lose weight.

Plot Twist: Sean Payton will be played by Daniel Day Lewis and focus almost entirely on his addiction, Oscar Bait for Happy Madison

Yeesh with kids involved that would get dark fast. I've always wondered how well a dark/depressing version of Bad News Bears would do at the Oscars.

DDL murders the entire team in the end, hopped up on painkillers after a relapse when they lost the championship game.

"I'M FINISHED" he says, while collapsing at the 50 yard line, soaked in the blood of the innocent.

Yeah this will definitely just be about a super bowl winning coach going and having to coach little kids. Nfl won't care, it's a comedy

If it's a Happy Madison production, they need to bring Christopher MacDonald in as the commissioner.

He eats pieces of shite like Sean Payton for breakfast.

As much as people like to shite on Sandler, he does a great job of keeping his friends employed and making (mostly) entertaining movies.

Chris Rock will be his "wise-cracking" assistant coach.
David Spade will be the creepy old equipment manager guy.
Rob Schneider will be the annoying football dad heckling him from the stands.

This sounds like Kicking and Screaming.

Will Robert Duvall and Will FerreLl make a cameo?

Ballers basically dared them to sue for using their stuff under fair use and the NFL couldn’t do anything

Yeah, as long as you use their logos and names properly (for football sequences, commentary, etc) the NFL can't really do anything.

It's kind of like how movie review YouTube channels can still monitize their own vidoes when they show copywrited films and TV shows, as long as they are "commenting" on the movie.
