But Roberts has fricked up playoff pitching decisions more than any man alive, so it was somewhat appropriate

They truly should just shut up about it. Trying to save some face for him, but honestly, Robert's could just say, hey the man has a 5 ERA in the playoffs, this aint no big deal for Clayton. LOL

It was 3-1 Phillies when he entered and he didn’t give up anything his 1st inning of work.
Gave up a solo shot, but Muncy’s error and a sawed off single is what did them in, by the time he was truly getting shelled the game was already out of reach and he saved some arms. At this point, at 37, the Dodger’s are doing him a solid for his years of service to the organization and he did his job tonight in middle relief.

Dodgers are the most talented team in baseball playing their best ball at the right moment, but their bullpen is hot garbage. It was last year too.
They covered that up by using starters out of the pen last year and are trying that again this year. It worked until it didn't tonight.
And their big money bullpen hauls in the off-season that were to correct this - Yates and Tanner Scott have not sniffed the post-season. And Scott's got 3 more years on his contract.
