I know this has prob been asked and is annoying to the regulars but I'm driving and can't read the thread, my sister is at the derby today for the first time and told me to do research on what bets she should make. I know nothing so my research was going to be ask in this thread and hope someone gives me some good bets for her

Destin is my wife's friends horse. Trained by Pletcher. Pletcher horses usually do not do well at the Derby. His horses seem to peek for Saratoga and Breeders.

I'm gunshyoff an 8 week break and last run at Tampa, even though he set a record.

Looks like favorites are not getting on the board. Pat Day Mile was an arse kicking to American Freedom. Had nothing down the stretch. Have a feeling race 12 will play the same.
