Came into the game in the bottom of the 9th with the Dodgers up 3-1. Gave up two runs and blew the save. Now in the top of the 12th, still tied 3-3.
Jansen's ERA is at 8.10 now and the Dodgers don't have a replacement closer ready. Gonna be a long season if Jansen keeps this up.

IIRC, Jansen actually had a negative FIP for the first month or two last season. He’s fallen hard this year...

he lost himself in the World Series last year, getting beat up by the Astros has him in his head. You can see it in his demeanor.

This is off-topic but it’s kinda nice to see Kemp balling out for LA again. They couldn’t get a bucket of balls in return for him in the offseason and now he’s off to a great start

Kemp did the same thing to start the season last year for the Braves. Then he got fatter, hurt, and sucked arse for the rest of the season.

Meh, they would choke in the playoffs anyway.

Naw, his velocity is down and his cutter is not moving the way it has in the past. bUT he had a hamstring problem in spring training so he hasn't gotten as much work in as usual.
