I think the fact that at the end of their swings their bodies are facing in the direction that they start to run in. Lefties can just follow through and start running to first all in one fluid motion. Righties can't.

Yeah, that is one area in sports where lefties have a distinct advantage. For years, pre-roids, lefties led the league in batting a heavy percentage of the time.

What about Josh Hamilton's? That swing is pretty sweet. He might be on a Griffey career-like plane if not derailed due to off the field issues.
