Just think the Jets tossed Sam Darnold to the curb for Zach Wilson

What's funny is the current quality of QBs for this upcoming NFL draft is awful yet you'll still have teams draft them high anyway

They should have signed Rodgers.

Then he could have sexted a reporter and helped Newsom steal from poors.

Darnold completely imploded last season and wanted a multi year contract. They would’ve had to cut like $20 million to sign him. I totally understand why the Vikings didn’t keep Darnold.

They should’ve had a much better backup situation though

Darnold was playing lights out until he went up faced pressure in that playoff NFCC game.
He couldnt do anything and imploded big time.
Funny thing is, they thought that Rookie QB could play, he ended being a huge bust.

Letting Darnold go wasn’t the mistake. It was not keeping Jones or finding another quality backup. McCarthy is basically a rookie and keeps getting hurt. They should’ve had one of the best backup QB situations but rolled with Carson Wentz and an undrafted rookie. That was big frickup
