Game 2 orange bowl
(5) Ohio state vs (12) ucf
Winner plays bama
Game 3 cotton bowl
(6) Wisconsin vs (11) Washington
Winner plays Georgia
Game 4 Peach Bowl
(7) Auburn vs (10) Miami
Winner plays Oklahoma
We already have the playoff locked, loaded, and ready to use. Just need those who claim to be smarter than us to unleash it.
I would love to see this play out. My final four would be:

Oklahoma

Still problems...Stanford beat Washington head to head, and won their division.
I'm a huge Stanford fan. They didn't deserve to be in any playoff, but Washington didn't either.
Keep it the way it is. It's not perfect, but nothing will ever be.

Yep. If you have 4 teams, then #5 and #6 will be pissed. If you have 8 teams, #9 and #10 will be pissed. It will just go on and on. 4 teams are fine.

Top 6 conference champions and the top two seeds get a bye. I don’t see how you could complain since everyone has a legit shot to make it. It removes the eye test for the most part.

Why on Earth is this season the one everyone wants to expand the playoff for...
You have 3 teams that are actually worthy. Unless you want to throw undefeated UCF a bone, someone had to get a second chance. Alabama was the best of the worst so they got the chance.
