He admitted to drinking I see. Feel sorry for the guy.

Dean--Thanks for the fix.
I agree with the writer. Unlike numerous other celebrities who refuse to admit they have a problem, even in the face of overwhelming evidence (Charlie Sheen, Lindsay Lohan, Demi Moore), Josh has a generally clean record since coming to the Rangers (both incidents involve alcohol, which although he admits was his "gateway" to harder stuff is still legal, so neither MLB nor the Rangers can really do that much, and they were three years apart, and he's never tested positive for anything illegal during his tenure).
Maybe this new "accountability partner" for Josh will get things back on track, and we can get back to arguing as to whether he should get a large contract due to recurring injuries, not substance issues.

Let's hope so. Even though it would be better for the Angels if he weren't. Ranger, I hope the guy straightens shite out.

Im definitely rooting for the guy. He has been through hell and back but it never gets easy.
He is really trying and is honestly one of the most refreshing people in sports.

Sad situation. But hey Its a terrible thing to have to admit what YOU are going through. Its even worse when the whole world is waiting for you to fail.
Think about it............

I really don't think the world wants him to fail...

He can't function drinking at all. He shouldn't drink anything. He is an addict and he's got serious issues with alcohol and drugs.
I imagine he isn't just drinking one or two, not how it works with alcoholics. His career will derail this summer if he is boozing again.

I understand that it can lead to relapse, but as of now it hasn't.
I doubt in a month Hamilton is am alcoholic meth head.
If he starts drinking again, his career will end very soon.

I think pretty much everyone is pulling for him.

Sucks to hear this for J-Ham. Hopefully, it won't mess up the numbers on his new contract that's about to come up.
And, hopefully he can stay sober, too.
