Honestly don’t think Gruden is too concerned about winning this year. They’re making the long term play of building for Vegas. That will be the “fresh start” for the franchise.

Carr is 90% of the way there. Sometimes, he plays it safe when he needs to go for broke. Sometimes, he goes for broke when he should play it safe.
If Gruden gets a little bit more from Carr, the Raiders are set. If not ... it could get messy and it could get messy fast.

He's a career.500 coach. I think he'll be fine with the Raiders, but have no idea why so many fans of CFB teams wanted him.
