He always sounded like he had all the answers when he was in the booth. He sold himself well.

Those who can, do. Those who can't, sit behind a microphone.

I have long argued that he was among the most overrated coaches in the game. He won a Super Bowl with Dungy's players and then proceeded to lead the franchise into irrelevance before he was finally forced out.

Well by that same logic Bill Callahan won with his players, right?

But he beat the team that traded him. He “won with Dungy’s players” is such a dumb argument that we always hear. Dungy only won 1 super bowl with prime Peyton Manning.

Nah. Derek Carr is making some bizarre and stupid throws.

He threw two passes up for grabs into coverage and they were both picked off. Both of those came in the red-zone, costing the Raiders at least 6 points.

The Raiders have outplayed all of their opponents in the first half and Denver / Miami into the fourth quarter. They just fall apart late.

I'll blame Jon Gruden for grabbing older players and building a roster with limited depth. I can't blame him for Carr throwing stupid passes.

He's been off the sideline for over a decade. Game has changed.

Derek Carr is trash! It's time to accept it.

Looking back on that super bowl championship team, they really weren’t that good of a squad, top to bottom.

i'm pulling carr, but this is his prove it year. i trusted the mack trade because of tying up too much money in two players when we have so many needs.

we'll see how carr does this year on whether we shoulda signed mack and ditched carr when it's better for the cap.

A lot of coaches have won Super Bowls, but the game evolves and some coaches don't evolve with the game.

He’s always been overrated.

The raiders couldn’t get to the SB until he was gone. He hit lucky and won with Tony Dungys team. And they went south every year after that.

Still can’t beliebe how many people wanted that clown at LSU.

That's fine.

But to say that those that can't should be commentators to a guy that won a super bowl is pretty asinine.

I think he's more of a caricature type personality. He's also got a supersized ego (it's about him)
