He is getting crushed every other play.

Taking hard hits.

He is going to get hurt soon.

He is still playing great, though.

It’s almost like if you’re the first pick, you’re usually going to a shitty team/franchise.

QBs don't take hard hits in the NFL anymore.

Tell this stuff to 70's/80's QBs.

I think the last QB in the NFL to take hard hits was David Carr in the early 2000's.

Might ended up just like Carson Palmer!

They'll draft Sewell. Hopefully Joe isn't destroyed this year

So a team that had the #1 overall pick in the off-season doesn’t have a lot of talent around their rookie QB?

Wow! I would have never guessed!

Burrow is the ideal guy to build a team around. I think the Bengals will be alright in the next couple years

I'll take 90.6 qb rating any day. Defense and O-line are bad. Tbh, he's just got to wait out his rookie contract before thinking about a super bowl.

Cam Newton basically got CTE in live time a couple years ago that one game he took at least a few shots right to the head

Joe definitely took a fricking beating on the hit that he fumbled with a solid back of the head bounce

It happens

It’s the Bungals. One of those poorly run, perpetually losing organizations. They will probably never amount to anything they way they’re run right now. Wouldn’t surprise me if Joe has an early retirement like Luck.

It's such a stupid argument. Players take a beating. Also, players are bigger, stronger and faster than they've ever been.

Watch the game where Joe Montana gets taken out in a playoff game against the Giants.

Watch Stabler getting his helmet ripped off and his neck collared as he's taken to the ground by the Steelers...and no penalty called.

Hell watch any poor sap QB in the 70's...who went to crap teams and got destroyed. What everyone is talking about is just regular football but today it's...he's taking hard hits because we're so used to the new rules where you can't touch a QB that a sack is now egregious.

Or another playoff game where Jim McMahon gets literally picked up and body slammed like it's the WWE...on his head...5 seconds after he released the ball.

And tell me how tough players have it today.
