It's too late. The Ohio State school administration has put themselves in Tressel's corner from the start, despite all of the known evidence. This entire mess has been botched from an adminstrative level. Starting with letting these guys play in the bowl game, then only suspending Tressel for two games, and so on and so on.

Yeah, the 2010 NCAA rulings were absolutely ridiculous. It really has tainted the game, and they boldly showed the world that "money is king" in the NCAA's eyes.

Before I even read the story, I knew there was going to be an "interim" coach for the entire year. That gives Urban Meyer a year in his "retirement" and take over in 2012. I don't know if they're making it obvious enough.

True. I've always said Meyer would end up at Penn St. Just so happens this one comes open first.
I think if Ohio St. gets USC type sanctions, I think he'd take the OSU job.
