I see your point, but what exactly has he said that's so bad? Like the other poster said it's the medias fault, not his. SC and ND get similar treatment.

let's not forget he is responsible for two very impressive rebuilds elsewhere.

Does this board want to downplay how, in only 4 years, he took stanford from the worse P5 team in the country to a 12-1 elite team? Or what he did at SF?

Don't let this board get to you dude. He'll be fine, he just needs a new OC. Drevno was at SC for a year and I can tell you that all the players were happy to see him leave.

It’s not his fault. I really think you just miss the entire point of this.

It’s just showing others he’s not as special as many may have thought.

That’s it.

Why are you being so defensive and making it out to be anything more.

It's fun to beat up on Michigan and Harbaugh but I have a feeling he'll be able to maintain a program unlike Hoke.

Michigan was 5-7 the year before Harbaugh.

Since then:

10-3
10-3

Currently 4-1

How is Harbaugh failing?

Not everyone can go undefeated. In fact, after the regular season and before the playoffs only two teams in the entire nation were undefeated...Alabama and Western Michigan.

He's performing at the same level as Brady Hoke but behind paid twice as much

Are you dense or something?

Exactly he's a slightly above average coach performing at the level an above average coach would perform

Props to his agent for the marketing and the branding him as an elite level guy

Let's see how rest of season goes.

Hoke's third year ended in disaster, finsihed like 2-6.

Harbaugh can show he is worthy of his salary if he figures something out and fixes this offensive dumpster fire.

You're dense if you think that Harbaugh is going to end up like Hoke.

It's fun to post early stats and assume a flat-line across the career.

Yeah...because they have a similar record in their first couple of years...

So of course Harbaugh will fall of a cliff like Hoke.

I swear, the assumptions people make and rush to conclusions on the MSB.

The money he's being paid is for the long-term...Hoke couldn't recruit like Harbaugh. His early success was mostly players he never recruited. When he did fully get his whole team of all his players, Michigan tumbled

The fact you think Harbaugh is a bust with his early record and how he has turned around dismal programs and hasn't yet had a full team of just his players is pretty pathetic even for you.

Who said he's going to end up like Hoke?

He has performed, to date, at exactly Hokes level

Slightly above average. 3rd in the BigTen east

Obviously it's concerning to have such offensive struggles in the third year

They've played a terrible schedule to date as well

This really makes you wonder just wtf happened to hoke in the middle of year 3.

Did he forget how to run a program? Things seemed at least somewhat stable. He was 5-0 and then bam.

What is he supposed to do? Have a press conference imploring the sports media to stop talking about him?

Saban sort of just did exactly that.

Harbaugh is a top 5 coach, Michigan blew arse before he got there.

He lost his last 4 vs them.....

He wasn't fired, btw.

But yes, as of now, Harbs is more Lloyd than Saban/Meyer.
So when Michigan loses to PSU next Saturday, Wisconsin in November and tOSU to end the season will you start to lose confidence?

The media isn't the only one who hypes him up. Harbaugh also hypes himself up. The guy is the very picture of self-importance. He truly believes he's the greatest thing since sliced bread.

et compare their salaries. JH has gamed the system perfectly.

JH turned Stanford into a power and then made it to a super bowl. He does a have a resume which justifies salary.
