was at a bar in the midwest this weekend and the bartender strikes up a conversation and he turns out to be from Covington High. His last game was against the Blue Jays in the Quarterfinals that year. It's funny how you remember all the details of the ones that go away. I couldn't remember anything about that game besides the rain and their QB getting knocked out. He could recite every run by #21.

nearly 30 years later.. remember almost every play of a painfull semifinal game..

especially a bs PI call..

That's funny. I remember that game...in the "Cow Palace". They had a really good linebacker. We won 24-0.

I played in 3 semifinals in a row. Remember them well. Lost all 3

Sophomore year lost 24-14 to a Damien James clinic at Carencro

Junior year: aforementioned beatdown @ WM

Senior year: 6-3 loss to Ruston on a Jack Hunt fake punt

I was in 8th grade and not on the varsity team then, but I remember watching it from the stands. Jamie Spencer destroyed us. I thought we had a fighting chance after drubbing Reggie Wayne's Ehret team 44-0 in the quarters.

Reggie Wayne's Ehret

for the past 30 something years... seen about 15-18 games a year...

best player at this position at the HS level I have seen PERIOD.

much better than Tyronne(who was too old) Vaughns..

WM should win with ease, 28-14

That would be a great effort by Jesuit to hold WM to their lowest output of the year. WM had 34 last week with 3 touchdowns called back and a fumble at the 3. I think this will be a good game for a half, but the depth of WM will be too much.

28-11 final
pretty good prediction by garrettpz71
