I want to say yes give it to them (especially spring sports). Winter sports are cheated out of their playoff time but who knows maybe it makes a case for them at the next level. Only thing that it screws up is the numbers. Entire returning senior class with an incoming class. Teams would almost have to be allowed to be bigger for one year. A lot of redshirts too.

"It's immoral for universities and colleges to make millions off the sweat of these athletes!"
...as he cashes checks for hundreds of thousands of dollars commentating games played by these poor, exploited souls.
ETA: some logic addled simpleton actually downvoted this.

Bilas is the most insufferable analyst on television. I can't stand him.

Because he works for a company. That ain’t immoral.

Why is he a hypocrite? He may be, I just have no idea why.
He has been profiting off the players via broadcasting for the last 20 or so years.
I don’t blame him and I generally agree with him on the ncaa but he comes across as smug a-hole sometimes. He definitely thinks he is the smartest person in every room

Only sports athletes who should get another year are:
Baseball
Softball
And those that just started.
College Basketball peeps should be shite out of luck, they played their season. Missing only the conference tourney, and with Missouri bball, a conference tourney run to win it, and then a final four run in NCAA tourney as a 12 seed(LO'fin L)

Why am I not surprised FlailingBob managed to once again miss the entire point.
So in FlailingBob and Bilas' world it is immoral for the entities that actually provide a benefit to the athlete in the form of tuition, room, tutoring, managed nutrition programs, athletic training and coaching, free medical care, etc. - the college's and universities - to make money off the athlete's endeavors. But Bilas, who doesn't provide them a damn thing other than bloviating and locker room lawyer talk; he's the one who can make millions off the student athletes.
Classic FlailingBob...

Maybe it'll give them a chance to get some time in class... You know while they're in school.

Didn’t miss it. Don’t agree that your comparison makes sense.

Yes.

You aren’t smart.
But that first part doesn’t happen without the second. Moron.
It’s very simple. Universities aren’t businesses. Sorry this basic point escapes you.

I always laugh at this, and never see people call him out on it. You always have the morons claiming players are slaves and his tweets go to the shitters and off the rails.

Wait, your 'gotcha' point is because the company that signs Bilas' paycheck isn't "NCAA" that absolves him of all sanctimonious hypocrisy? That's your reasoning? Even for you, that's weak sauce.
Posted on 3/13/20 at 6:25 pm to SoFla Tideroller
He doesn’t need absolution. Lol
Nope.
Good thing it isn’t.
Like I said, you ain’t smart.
