All times Burrow made a statement. I consider that often

When is the last time he made a statement. You said he "actively" makes statements.

When's the last tweet or IG post?

He's fallen victim to the crud on the PT, where if you don't agree with every word they say you are liberal scum who voted for Biden and deserve all this bad stuff that is happening in the world.

You hate to see it.

He made statements on abortion and guns just this past summer. I consider him feeling to make a public statement on any issue at the time as being active in staying political

I don't have a big problem with Burrow yet because my guess is he thinks he is being savvy and this is good for the locker room. Finebaum crucified Orgeron yesterday for not doing the same thing two years ago.

You think your bias is showing a little here? You ignoring the part where th03 said I don’t like burrow because he supports black people?

Substitute dislike for calling them idiots, that is exactly what you did.

"I really haven’t talked about that part much," Burrow said. "I think with everything that’s going on, if you’re not going to outlaw everything you have to at least make it harder to get those crazy guns everybody is using. I don’t think you should be able to just walk in there and buy one. You have to be able to go through a rigorous process to be able to buy something like that, I think.

"Hopefully the people that get paid to make those decisions figure that out. My job is to play football, but hopefully the politicians can figure that one out."

How can you hear the pain Black people are going through and dismiss it as nothing. How can you hear the pain and respond with anything other than “I stand with you.”

The black community needs our help. They have been unheard for far too long. Open your ears, listen, and speak. This isn’t politics. This is human rights.

So 1 or 2 statements during the offseason is going to hold him back from that list of greats who aren't distracted by making 1-2 tweets during the offseason...is that your argument?

No ptsd. No outrage on my part. Just think it’s dumb. Why are you so dramatic?

I addressed that in a post, it wasn't nearly as far off base as you think.

Nope, not at all

I just don’t think it’s prudent to do so, and I think it is a potential distraction and why add it to his plate? And I think that’s why most of those all time greats chose not to get involved

quit projecting, you've been outraged over this shite for years since you went on an anti-brees tirade that still hasn't ended

Which one of those gun points he made is idiotic?

Which one of those abortion scenarios do you disagree with that makes him an idiot?

So to confirm, this quote you said in this very thread, you already no longer believe?

quote:

To be at that level it takes ridiculous amount of attention to detail and focus. Adding this to the plate makes it very difficul

You can't believe that quote AND answer "nope, not at all" to my question. The answer is either YES, or the answer is NOPE and you no longer believe the quote you said.

Which is it? Is it going to make it difficult for him or not?

It makes something EXTREMELY difficult even more difficult, yes

I even gave Lebron as an example to show it clearly isn’t impossible….

damn, you already backtracking? did you never actually read what he said before or did you get outraged from PT snippets?

you like 20 minutes ago:

Has kept their heads down and stayed out of that mess. To be at that level it takes ridiculous amount of attention to detail and focus. Adding this to the plate makes it very difficult. The margins are just so damn thin to be an all time great that adding this just seems stupid to me

You asked will it “hold him back”, which to me is asking will it definitively prevent him. And my answer to that is no not at all, as Lebron has done it

But I do think it makes it more difficult
