That is not a guarantee. Recent draft boards have him lower.

The first pick of the draft is going to depend on who has it. Marriotta could very well be the guy.

Yeah, he pulls that card out a lot.

He's a known and unabashed dick-rider.

If a lot is maybe 3-4 times ever.

"he throws the ball like a shot put"

He is a baseball player. He throws like a pitcher. It's being fixed.

How big is the kid?

He doesn't look 6'5 230 like Cam.

Winston may have better passing numbers than Cam, but Cam throws/threw a much, much prettier ball from a much more efficient release.

Winston is a chunker.

Jameis very well could be graded the highest of any qb ever but I think people don't appreciate exactly what Luck did. He never had a WR that could stretch the field. Montgomery developed this year and his receivers were average. FSU has speed all over the field.

Also true.

Luck didn't have nearly the talent to throw the ball to.

Winston has pro potential as a pitcher. He could be a top pick in the professional league of his choice. Do you disagree?

Just a minor issue anyway.

I disagree

If he was that good at baseball he would be playing it.

Yeah, I'll say this. The kid is good. But their last two QB's looked good against the shite teams they played as well. Got them drafted WAY higher then they should have.

But I like Winston. Seems to have his head on straight, plays the game the right way and is a damn good QB.

At this point, he's no Luck.

I don't follow baseball scouting. I'll have to defer to you on that one.

I don't think he is a Top 15-20 pick in football, though.

If every prospect ever was lumped into one mega draft, then Luck would be the second pick ever after John Elway. It is virtually impossible to grade out higher than Andrew Luck.

I do appreciate it. Luck has a very good arm. Winston ony really has the upper hand in that single category.

We'll see. All of you that think I'm an idiot be sure to bump this for the draft after next, we'll see who was right.

Not only that, but luck's ability to audible plays

If we are talking physical ability, sure.

Luck's mechanics were pretty much flawless. His football IQ was genius and to boot he was 6'5" 240 and ran a 4.54 electronic 40. He has gone in and turned around the Colts. I am pumping the brakes on the Jameis/Luck comparison. There might be one thing that Jameis has over Luck and that is charisma. Luck looked like a tool.
