For anyone who has not been paying attention to the NFL this season, Jalen Hurts is on pace to have record-setting numbers in both passer rating and rushing TDs for a QB. Now, any wise person would assume that would make him an MVP lock, however, people tend to stay on the Mahomes and Josh Allen bandwagon because of their performances over the last few years. This is utter blasphemy, the disrespect for Jalen Hurts' name is rather bothersome, as people are "blaming" his success on first-year star receiver AJ Brown. Am I going crazy, or is Jalen Hurts not the undisputed MVP as of today? Keep in mind he is conducting an 11-1 offense in the always-competitive NFL.

A lot can change in the last month. Just ask Brees in 2018.

Burrow probably offers the best value in the plus 800 range. If he runs the table to end the season, he probably wins it unless Philly also runs the table.

His rating is 108, which is just outside the top 25 of all time. He probably deserves it but I don’t think he wins it unless they run the table.

There's not enough crow on the planet for me to eat concerning my takes on Hurts. Never thought he had a chance in the league, didnt have the arm talent, vision etc.

He's an incredibly hard worker and had made huge leaps. I was wrong as F.

In the end it will be mahomes that’s how the nfl works
The fact that Brees never won was a travesty

2 players just this season have a higher passer rating.

Well, he's not nearly as good as you thought he was, so you'll have to let us know if you've changed this strong opinion when you realized that.

Same. I thought he'd bounce around as a backup for 2-3 years and be done. I was way off.

Hell, just ask the last eagles QB to “lock up” the award in early December
