if jalen carter didn't get along with teammates, then why was he drinking and racing with them all night?

What he did was flat out stupid and criminal, but it's the type of crime that fans of X team can talk themselves into accepting easily, if X team ends up drafting Jalen Carter.
The apology tour for this one is pretty short if no other charges get added on. Fans of X team will quickly rally around "He's a kid, made a dumb decision, panicked, he didn't hurt anybody, etc..."
With that said I don't think his draft stock ends up tanking if he's not looking at doing time.
