What a fricking sill arse sport at this rate.

Now the Paul fight is off and he signed a 4 fight deal with the Saudi group.

Until something changes again.

Kinda funny that the best boxer in the sport has to use the threat of a jake Paul fight to skim more money out of the saudis

Yup. Canelo-Paul is off, which is good with me. Canelo-Crawford is a legitimate fight.

It should have never even been considered on as it is such a farce and a black eye for boxing.

I like Bud Crawford as a fighter and he's a no-nonsense type guy who comes to give his best when he enters the ring. What he did to Errol Spence 2 fights ago opened a lot of people's eyes as to how good this guy is. He made it look easy beating Spence by stoppage in 9 rounds.

Canelo will be a step too far for him if he has to get to even the middleweight limit of 160. He has the frame to carry it and is about the same height as Alvarez, but Canelo has been campaigning at these heavier weights for a few years now and is very comfortable being there.

I think Bud going up in weight to face Canelo is about the same as when Canelo went up to light heavyweight to face Bivol------just a step too far against a very good fighter.

They'll set up the match so if he knocks him out he gets way less money. Tyson held back on a few instances where the right hook was there and they both knew it.

Bud is technically a better boxer than Canelo. If his conditioning is right, bud is gonna win

Well, considering Canelo's only 2 losses came at the hands of slick boxers in Mayweather and Bivol, you may have a point.

Bud is definitely a better technician in the ring, but will he be able to handle the power that will be coming his way when he gets hit, and I don't doubt for a minute he will get hit. Canelo, like all Mexican fighters, loves to break down a fighter with those hard body shots, especially those left hooks to the liver.

Canelo has grown into that weight gradually over the years as he's gotten older like most people. Like most fighters, you clean out a division and you need to step up in weight to challenge for more titles.

I remember when Roberto Duran first started fighting, 4 of his first 5 fights he weighed under 120 lbs. His career spanned 39 years and at times fought as high as 176 with many of his fights at the end of his career being in the mid 160 range. Many of the 16 losses occurred during that phase of his career as the wear and tear took its toll on him and fighting younger, hungrier fighters.
