Can't wait to field a solid team once again in a few years. It's been so long. Bortles will is going to be a pretty good QB.

Die hard fan here. I'm more cynical about our defense but I'm excited to see how our offense evolves throughout the season. Bortles is going to take his lumps, but he has the mental toughness and confidence to handle that, and he'll make plays too. With Bortles in I think our offensive game plan might finally develop into what our OC wanted it to be. Wins and losses don't really concern me this season, I'm looking forward to see Bortles and our offense gel and evolve this season.

Hopefully Bortles to Hurns becomes a staple. Right now Hurns has been an absofrickinglutely steal.

This is yet another bed that the Jags made and might as well lay in it.

They have, after the game Bradley said something like, "It's time to let Bortles start building his body of work on the field," or something to that effect. He's the starter for the rest of the season. Win or lose, at least I may finally be able to enjoy watching the Jags again.

Another thing, Bortles went into a 30-0 shitstorm with barely any 1st team reps leading up to the game. It will be interesting to see how he does after having a week as "the guy" to prepare.

I wonder if that dude ever gets randomly recognized and offered fifty bucks to show up at somebody's business meeting or fantasy football draft to do his shrug and head shake.

He'll takes his hits, but it's not going to be like Henne. He gets rid of the ball quicker, goes through his reads, he'll make the OL better. Now, he'll still take his sacks and most of that will come from just being a rookie. But that's to be expected.

He was at Columbine during the shooting.

If legit, that's one of the odder instances of dual semi-fame.

Damn haha. So weird for a high school in Colorado to produce a Jacksonville Jags fan.

He even kind of looks like he's about to do his shrug and smirk pose in that class photo.
