His max was in college was the low-mid 50s and it felt like a 50-50 shot if he would make anything over 50.
His first year, he was basically maxed out around 45yds and missed quite a few.
I don't understand how kickers ar making such a huge jump from college to NFL recently. He's basically added 15+ Yds and enhanced his accuracy tremendously in just 2 yrs.
Do narrower hash marks and footballs make that big of a diffenece?

That was snapped at midfield. Touchbacks are spotted at the 35. Imagine trying to scheme against a 2-minute offense that only has to move 15 yards

NFL teams must be investing significantly more money in sports science to help them with biomechanics to maximize leg velocity.
I sort of get the impression college coaches kind of take kickers as they find them and the NFL works significantly harder to get kickers using their full body to generate the motion.
