I have a #18 jersey. LSU leaned so much on him last year and he carried them at times on his shoulders. I also like him because he's a Dirt Dog type of player (just like my screen name) which is reserved for certain types of Red Sox players but he's one of those types on the football field.

Race has nothing to do with it. It's because he runs his heart out like his life depends on it. He plays b/c he loves the game, as opposed to the many divas in the NFL.
I just hope he becomes an integral part of the Charges' offense.
BTW- I like Deuce McAlister, Joe Addai, for the same reasons-race has nothing to do with it.

1. He's an underdog type story, and has defied some odds.
2. He's white.
