Once they voided his money I think the plan to the Pats was on. Of course they didn't plan on making the Raiders void it.
I think the plan was to get to week 1 to get his guaranteed money. Once that was out of the door there was no reason to stick around.
So the Belichick/Brown/Rosenhaus collusion plan originally was to somehow get the Raiders to cut AB after week 1...when they would have even less of an incentive to cut him due to the cap hit from his guaranteed dollars?
I’m so confused by all of this 4-D chess.

So you claim to have attended the 85 Super Bowl and came out of that a Patriots fan

Calculated gamble by Rosenhaus. 9 Mil this year, Brown plays nice, is a good boy, big contract next year.
How about we just go with Occam’s razor...
1) Brown isn’t “playing” anything. He’s legit insane
2) Rosenhaus has zero influence over crazy-arse AB and is just trying his best to do damage control. The Patriots contract is a gift as far as he’s concerned.
3) The only one gambling here is Belichick...and that gamble is a calculated one because $9M isn’t shite for the patriots to lose “if” (when) they have to cut AB. And on the very slim chance AB comes to his senses, the patriots will have one of the greatest receiver corps in history for really cheap.

It’s a serious accusation. Need some proof.
