for the cancellation.Keep in mind NO ONE can say CV was the primary reason for the condition and the "study" was done on critically ill CV patients on blood thinner s.
Looks like ALL the BIG officials that are talking publically are embracing this talking point
quote:
A case series study showed that 67% of critically ill COVID-19 patients required vasopressor and that 33% developed cardiomyopathy. This raises suspicion of sepsis-related cardiomyopathy, a disease characterized by reversible myocardial dysfunction.

Who made the decision.... the Presidents or the Athletic Directors?
I'm assuming it was the Presidents, with little to no actual input from the athletic department, contrary to what is stated publicly.
Presidents are generally liberal, and want to remain in good standing with their liberal counterparts at other schools so the continue to get invited to all the "cool" parties and functions. Was there really any other choice they could have made?

Let’s be clear, they decided to cancel, and then used myocarditis which is old news as the reason. There is nothing new with myocarditis and viruses/covid 19

This was indeed the nail in the coffin.
I’m just glad LSU won the last Natty, that’s the only silver lining I can point to.

Those athletes having the symptoms was old news?
I believe the study came out in late July
LINK
The BIG president on Finebaum keep on referring to "new information" that came out "last week" Could have been FOS.
This "study" is FAR from scientific or even complete.

The media was more of the driver than anything
These university presidents in no way could’ve handled the pressure of outbreaks happening during the season or an athlete or two getting seriously sick
