I'll have to watch Calvin's interview. Rosie's horse has fading, she didn't get in Calvin's way. He switched over to the rail and ran up her arse. I'll watch it again, maybe her horse got into some trouble as well. I was really just focused on watching Calvin navigate through the traffic.

I stated earlier in the week that I was going with Chrome because I felt more comfortable putting money on the best horse and losing because of a bad trip instead of betting someone else and watching him win. I was excited down the back stretch because he was going to have no excuses. He got a perfect trip and if he was the best, he was going to win.

I can't believe how fast Uncle Sigh faded. He was in the lead for 2/3 of the race and finished 14th

And Vicar's In Trouble was running 5th for the first half of the race and finished dead last

Just watched Calvin's interview and he told the truth. He didn't think Rosie's horse would stop as badly as he did and he messed up. I also agree that he would have been at least 2nd or 3rd had he chose another path. That horse really ran big and is going to be a factor if he chooses to race in the next two.

Gary was mad in his interview. He said it was the roughest Derby he has rode in and Maragh has no regard for other riders or horses. Said he got into him and Nakatani.

if you looked at the pp's and watched the race replays, there was NO way u could leave commanding curve off your tickets.

Here is what i said on the 31st
quote:

Not sure why Commanding curve isn't getting any chat. his race in La derby, 2nd off of a 3 month layoff was nice. Winner took lead, set easy lead and won by 5. He was closing, got hammered after turn, and made a nice run to miss 2nd by a length or so. 50/1??? He looks as good, as anyone not named Cali chrome. If your taking 6/1 or less for wicked ur a fool. He either gets floated 5-6 wide around turn, or he's dead last, 3-4 wide.

I just do not like Dallas Stewart, it's the only thing that kept me from playing him. Since Dollar Bill, and his refusal to get Pat"Overrated" Day off of him, i refuse to play his horses.

Was it Gary's horse that got hammered in the first turn? I'm pretty sure he checked really hard and it killed any chance he had. Danza got killed early on and almost sent him into the fence. IIRC, it was similar to Lookin at Lucky. Danza did well to finish 3rd after that.

I am not sure I have ever seen him actually win a race. I feel like if he didn't have much the best, he didn't win. He was just along for the ride on most of his horses.

Chitu and saamrat ran good races, considering they were up against it, with being speed and liking to stay close to it.

Both ran very credible races, especially if your the trainers of either one.

Wow, just looked at final time 2:03ish is slow, chrome will be on his knees pleading for oxygen when they go 1 1/2 at Belmont.

Watching the race back, it looked like he did get into him around the first turn. Didnt see the other contact though.

It will be interesting to see the Beyer number. Do you think he was tired at the end? Why would he need oxygen? It's not like he was fading, I am just trying to figure out how much Victor used.

He quit on him well before the wire. If he gets left alone on a lead in the Belmont or stalks someone who is (I'm thinking super slow, like 24, 48-49, etc) he may be able to do it. Most of them aren't really bred for it and stagger home anyway.

He's gotta get through the Preakness first
