Come on.
You think he'd be a good OC or OL coach?

I don't see it.

He's best suited to be a GM-type HC.

how hard is it to recruit at LSU after the NC year/success in a talent rich state?

well other than that

miles is great in the in-home visit. parents love the guy

and somehow this weird, old very white guy does bond with young african american recruits

He's a "Michigan man." You can't understand how important that is to them.

maybe they just think he's a novelty, or he's exactly like "white people" are characterized by black comics

?

i never said he was great..but he's def. not bad.....just saying....a big school would def. hire him with his resume...but according to some he can't get hired at Tulane.

If you don't think that a head coach with a 28-21 record at Okie State and 50 wins in 5 years at LSU isn't a desirable position coach in D-1, I don't even know where to begin.

Poor coaching was a big factor, but they lost a lot of recruits, too.

the post I was directing my comment to said it was not hard to recruit at LSU after winning a NC in response to a comment that Les Miles is a good recruiter. If he is correct and Miles really isn't a good recruit at least then that does not explain why Miami fell off.

you're right

OC at OSU for 3 years where their best year was 8 wins...from 1995 to 1997

i'm still wondering what he can coach

OL by trade
TE coach at Dallas

hasn't done positional work in over 10 years

Michigan fans have always implied that he burnt a lot of bridges at UM. Does anybody have any idea who exactly he pissed off ?

"and we can't fire miles. can't afford it"

slow u can bring up a million reasons but the fact of the matter is we r ranked in the top 10 with 2 losses to possibly the bes. 2 teams in the nation.

So even thinking of firing the guy makes ZERO sense.
