Texas and TAMU are at a disadvantage with board of regents appointed by the governor pulling the strings of athletic departments. Jackie Sherrill was right.

1) Don't judge coaches based off of their first season. I still think Herman has the potential 2 be good. Though I will say the hype is probably too much.
2) Sometimes good coaches just don't work out at a school for whatever reason. Strong had a good coaching record before texas and may have more success in the future.
