At least the Black Eyed Peas had Slash. I actually like the Gladiatorial/military theme for a football game, but musically this sucks.

it can be done, there are things called uni directional mics so all a singer would have to do is sing directly into the mic and no other noise would be picked up. It can be easily done if you have the money to do it.
