Pardon my confusion, but why is 38.5% good for Ball but not for Tatum?

38.5 from 3 compared to 38.5 in the paint?
That should be pretty obvious

Whoops. It is now that I'm actually looking at the picture.

3 pt made career
He's a career 34% 3pt shooter.
34% from 3 in today's NBA would place you 120th in the league going by the 2016-17 stats.
Lonzo is a much better shooter than Kidd was, especially if you want to compare them at this age.

and that's a stretch where he took like what? 15 threes?
He really got his pull-up game going right before the SEC Tournament.
Here's Schmitz take from DX:
quote:
Before diving into his fit, it's important to note that Fox isn't an Elfrid Payton, Rajon Rondo style non-shooter. His mechanics are sound (73.6 FT%) and he did knock down 1.9 threes per 40 minutes at a 32% clip in 21 games with Houston Hoops on the EYBL circuit in 2015. Like fellow Kentucky alum John Wall, Fox will eventually become a weapon from the elbows, and it's not out of the question that he follows a similar trajectory to Mike Conley, who shot sub 70% from the free throw line and only 30% from three as a freshman at Ohio State, yet is now a career 37.9% 3-point shooter.

And he isn't in th top 250 all time in careeer 3pt%. He's prob closer to 300th all time
Gotta love when someone tries to boom another person without knowing what he's talmbout
