My point was, in terms of random recognizability, Lebron is more likely to be noticed by the general public.

How many countries have you been to other than the United States, Lester Earl?

Oh, and give me your opinion on what makes a recognizable brand other than sponsorship deals, Twitter followers, video game sales, etc.

Underwear ads... Beckham and Ronaldo are killing it. Female tennis players from eastern Europe need to step up!

Football trumps basketball.

I'd put any of the top 4 QBs above Lebron.

Manning, Rodgers, Brees and Brady for sure.

Maybe not Brees, but I am a homer. He's up there though, but its easy to say Lebron is now because he just won a championship and we havent seen a football since Feb.

Here are the athletes that get the most results when you type them into Google (a good, not perfect, measure of popularity):

1. Cristiano Ronaldo
2. Kaka
3. Pele
4. David Beckham

5. Tiger Woods
6. Lebron James
7. Ronaldinho
8. Michael Jordan
9. Kobe Bryant
10. Lionel Messi

Which countries (that you have been to) would have crowds that would flock to Lebron over Ronaldo? Name them.
