Yea down 3-1 he had a big moment, he put up a triple double on the clippers. They came back and won the series. That wasn’t a big game to lowe because he was down 3-1.

Also as proven earlier, any time he has a bad game his team loses because he never has a teammate play at a high level. I can post shite games for other players Whwre they won, bc they had more help. The numbers are not debatable when it comes to the help he has had.

A- selective stats don’t equal what you’re saying

B- top 25 isn’t greatest, if he’s considered the greatest offensive player of all time why doesn’t he rank top 10 or 5 in anything and why do considerably lesser scorers rank a lot higher in these offensive categories which are supposed to making the case for Harden?

Did you see what hardens stats were last year when he got to play an eastern conference opponent in rd 1? He was the best nba player at every meaningful stat. That was the first year he ever got to pad his playoff averages v an eastern conference team. He has gone up against utah and GSW the leagues best defenses seemingly every year. Not many chances to stat pad like others have done playing in the east.

A couple things that do stick out though is 1, he ranks around other players who’ve had high statistical outputs but never won and 2, most of his notable teammates rank higher than him, some by a wide margin.

Speaking of Utah, Donovan Mitchell averages over 5ppg more in the playoffs than Harden. 28.8ppg to 23.3

Chris Paul was not better than harden in any series they shares the court in HOU and harden is 2-0 v CP in the playoffs.

KD was outplayed by harden in the Celtics series and in the last HOU-GSW series.

Points per game you don’t measure a point guard by points per game.

You’re taking carefully selected small samples, we’re taking about his career.

Point guard? If you’re trying to say Harden is a point guard I’ve already given you the assist per game where he ranks much lower.

Oh you want to include the first fees years when he was coming off the bench, lowering his career averages, while I am focused on his playoff losses once he hit his prime Where he was consistently let down by his teammates. I am
Not really concerned with career plauoff averages although his career plauoff advanced metrics kill guys like Kobe and Wade.

What did Wade do his first 3 years what about Donovan? Harden was 3rd in minutes played on those OKC teams so the “bench” designation really doesn’t hold any weight. Plus when taking all these players career numbers a lot of them had stints in their careers where they were playing fewer minutes or coming off the bench so it’s not exclusive to him.

If you don’t win your numbers have to set yourself apart so easily that it leaves no doubt. His numbers don’t come close to doing that.

Harden has better career playoff and regular season stats than both Kobe and Wade.
And if you want to take the peak years of each player he is better in the regular season and postseason too.

the difference is the help each player had.

He has been out of rd 1 6 years in a row, double the streak of any other current star. He has lost to the team that went on to win the title 5 years in a row(sans when GSW had no KD AND no Klay) and his team was outgunned every year. Lost to more talented teams or had injuries. Player for player, as I posted, he has been the best player in nearly every series in that time frame.

And twice as many 4th quarter disappearing acts as both of them combined.

Boom picked the Rockets to win the title 4 years in a row, saying they were the best team. Never forget!

Here's where Boom tells me HOU had injuries, but Boom says injuries were an excuse. Here's where Boom also says Harden isn't responsible for how well his teammates play, and I tell him a true leader gets the most out of his teammates.

Except when it matters, like when Steph ran circles around Harden in the 4th quarters of games 6 & 7 for 2 straight years in the WCF.
