Hijack: Do most teams stick visiting GMs in among the fans like OKC seems to do? I remember seeing the Lakers GM in the crown then this last night.

While true, I'm simply playing devil's advocate here.

But I truly believe such a loud environment could be draining over a period of several intense weeks. If fan's heads are throbbing with pounding headaches after only one game, imagine going thru that night after night. Kinda hard to simply tune something like that out or just ignore it.....

i dont know, but i love it. the shots of those guys in the stands surrounded by screaming fans is awesome. it seems like most GMs would be in a luxury box or something similar. Ive seen Riley sit right behind the bench at other arenas.

Poor Alonzo ... Having a panic attack, surrounded by so many white trash fans ...

I hope Miami puts the OKC owner, gm, etc. high up in the stands. Unbelievable the seats they give the Heat execs, yet they give Kevin Durants entire family court side seats lol.

Who knows? He has like 10 people sitting court side at almost every game. Gives them all hugs after each game, does he pay for them, was it a part of his contract extension to keep him in that city?

I've just never not seen Riley and his wife sitting near or even behind the Team's bench.

I love the precedent they've set. They value their own fans more than anyone else. I love how they've treated little wayne and I like how they stick the admin for other teams in regular seats. In OKC the middle class, hometown fan has just as much clout as anyone that isn't wearing blue, no matter how rich and famous.

Also, OKC had a better regular season record, seems like the majority think OKC is the better team, and yet Miami and their super shitty regular season home crowds had a better regular season record at home.

East vs west isn't a fair comparison

Lil Wayne can go frick himself. He didn't even put on the t-shirt they put on his seat for him, talk about being a bad guest.
