Is Herbert really a top QB or does he just throw the ball 50 times a game?

Top tier. He looked better than mahomes today by a lot.

That pick cost em the game tho. They should've called a timeout cuz that wr he was going to wasnt ready for the play

Top tier
But also the history of the Chargers has been big passers with no titles
Fouts, Rivers. Now Herbert ?

Top tier. Dude can sling it. Winning the big games will come for him, but he may have to pull a Brees and leave the Chargers to do it.

He's awesome but the Chargers need to get an offensive HC IMO.

He could literally put the ball between kaylee Hartungs eye where it is pointed and where it should be from 20-30 yards

Is Burrow really a Top QB or does he just get sacked 50 times a year?

See you can can argue any stat.

Burrow career completion % 67, Herbert 66.

Justin Herbert career Ints, 25, Joe Burrow 23.

This board has a weird obsession with comparing the two...like if Herbert is praised that hurts your feelings.

Maybe they are bkth good in their own right.

I think just outside the top 5 with a chance to move into it this year.

I guess similar to Fouts & Rivers for most of their careers.

The Chargers remind me of team cultures like the Texas Longhorns in college that lack the edge or discipline to win at highest level.

Yeah the pick was a killer but the none overturn call for the INT Mahomes threw was the real game changer. Gave chiefs new life. Chargers would have had great field position and most likely put 7 up and chiefs would have folded with that happening right after they just gave up 7 the opening drive 2nd half. Looking at possibly 24-7 game.
