Thanks for the fight thread man, you do great work. Probably the best card of the year thus far although 291 (albeit no legitimate title fights) is one of the most loaded cards I've ever seen. That said, love Volk and don't see him losing to yair. Will be interesting to see how Volk approaches this match. Something tells me he throws with him early but he ultimately grinds him out on the mat. Moreno Pantoja is another good one. Pantoja being 2-0 vs Moreno but being the challenger is intriguing to to say the least. I think that one's a toss up. Whitaker duplessis could easily be the fight of the night. I like Whitaker in a decision. Bo Nickal with a first round submission and gimme Jalen Turner with the knockout in the 3rd round.

I agree with you mostly
I think the yair volk fight is alot closer than the odds say. Like anik said yair is 1 of 1 and the dude is such a dynamic striker and danger anywhere. I think he is the best striker in the ufc. Ive questioned his heart in the past but he has made a believer in me in these last 4-5 fights even in loss. I think to beat volk you have to be extraordinary and yair is definitely that along with being able to finish the fight from bell to bell. Volk is a beast also, he is one of the few fighters that is typically shorter than his opponents but dominates the striking.
Pantoja and moreno.. first moreno is one of my favorite fighters, dude seems cool as frick. I think the 1st round of this fight is gonna be a fricking war from the second the bell rings. In the other fights moreno had trouble matching the intensity of pantoja. Moreno has to come out and exceed the intensity of pantoja from the start to gain that respect. Thats why I expect the 1st round of this fight to be the most exciting on the card. Def gonna be an interesting one.
Ddp and bobby knuckles I think ddp will be easy work for him. Ddp has this weird thing going where he looks gassed then ends up winning. He has fought decent competion but rob is another level and is bringing 5 round cardio to a 3 round fight. I think ddp is too stiff and this will be like a vettori 2.0 fight for rob. I just see rob putting it on him in rounds 2/3 once he slows him down and figures him out.
Hooker and turner. You never know which hooker shows up but turner is very good and will have a pretty big height and reach advantage which is something hooker doesnt usually deal with being the shorter fighter. I believe turner will get it.
Def seems like gore was handpicked to lose to nickal. Gore looks like he is from another planet so maybe he got something we dont know about.
The guy that is stepping in for sean brady looks like an interesting prospect. Has a tough out against magdellena or whatever though.
Also get to see robbie lawler stand and bang for the last time. Nico price seems like a willing dance partner ahould be a good one.

Saw both Moreno and Pantoja win at 277 in Dallas. Cool to have them fighting for the title. Adds some extra juice to that one for me.
As an Izzy fan, got an extra eye on that Rob DDP fight. Closer than the line says imo.

jack magdellana or whatever fight cancelled due to opponent medical issue. jalin turner also missed weight but bout with dan hooker is still live.

Della Maddalena - you were close, not really
His opponent fought three weeks ago after a viral video knockout.. so it was not a foregone conclusion he was going to get cleared but he couldn't say no

His opponent’s pre fight CT scan found a rare condition he has in his brain that requires surgery. May not have been found if he hadn’t been named the replacement in this fight.

I think Volk makes it look easy. Outside of Volk getting caught, I just don’t see Yair’s path to victory. I think Volk is better everywhere.
I pretty much agree with you on the rest. Moreno and Pantoja will be the best fight on the main card.
