I’m sure their fans would give up a basketball season for the natty they just won.

Indiana should be in over Auburn and Indiana shouldn't be in the NCAA Tournament...

There are lifelong Indiana citizens who eat, sleep and breathe Indiana Basketball who are having a miserable Thursday, today

probably the ones who rep notre dame in football. I’m glad the band wagoners don’t get what they want

I never believed this was a thing until I stayed in Indiana for a little bit once. ND football/Indiana basketball fan combo is a thing and I still don't get it.

The fact that a supposed blue blood made rings for making the Sweet 16 will never not be funny.

Yeah sports fans like that irk me. It's like being a Cowboys and Dolphins fan during the NFL season, makes no sense.

Butler has had as much, if not more, success more recently than Indiana.

This is true, but no matter what anyone says they will gladly give up a basketball championship for a football championship - just like every other school.

You guys don't grasp just how serious Indiana basketball is to a contingency of people in that state.

Nebraska football was like this as well, going from a blue blood to barely mediocre has to be incredibly hard to swallow especially with just how good these teams were until the turn of the century. Iowa wrestling is going through this as well with Penn States dominance. Fans of these program get to the point of denial and every next year will be the year its back to the heyday of the 70s, 80s and 90s.

IU could have had Dusty May and Curt Cignetti….but 1 of 2 is still enough to be pretty happy i would assume

I think the last time I thought about or saw something related to IU basketball was when they beat Kentucky at the buzzer when UK was undefeated.
