Good response. That tells me exactly how he's dirty. Hold on, let me go call lebron and ask him.

Dirk doesn't even play defense half the time. How the hell would he be dirty? you act like he's the second coming of bill laimbeer.

Obviously you haven't watched the playoffs..... How can you not call him DIRTY??? Defense or not you must be a Heat fan... I don't care who wins, but what he has done is DIRTY

Dirk = Dirty
Nash = Nasty
Finley = Filthy

That came out about 8 or 9 years ago. Some mavs marketing thing.

This isn't Dirk's 2nd game. I've been watchig him for years. He gets outmuscled, outhustled, outrebounded, but not out-shot.

I posted this around 4:30 today in response to someone else. But you're around 12 years old, or rely on ESPN message boards to form your opinion about a player's playoff prowess.

quote:

He still put up good numbers in the finals in 2006, just at a low shooting percentage. He was the ONLY mavs player who didn't COMPLETELY shite the bed after game 2. Let's not forget how the mavs got there in the first place. Dirk beat the Spurs and Suns with some of the best ball you'll ever see. He averaged 27 points and 12 rebounds per game in the 2006 playoffs. 2007 was horrid. I'll give you that.

So in 11 years of playing in the playoffs, dirk has had exactly ONE postseason where he didn't score over 20 pts per game (2007). And in those 11 years he's averaged 10.4 rebounds per game. And he's the only player not named Tim Duncan, Shaq, or Kobe to lead their team to the NBA finals out of the western conference.

But yeah, sure, whatever you say. He sucks in the playoffs. This is the first year he's ever done anything, what, with his 28/8 line. It's not like he averaged: 28/13, 25/12, 26/12, 24/10, 27/12, 27/12, 27/10, 27/8...nope. none of that stuff EVER happened.
