He is top 10, but I agree there are others who were better.

No. Not number one.

Leinart. Ken Dorsey. Wuerffel. Vick. Tommie Frazier. All on equal footing if not better.

Was replying to 10 player who could be listed as better players than Vince Young to Lester saying players tht could be listed as better players. Earlier I mentioned Steve Young as the best QB.

Dude was like 28-1.

but say a guy like Charlie Ward who threw for 3K yards, but only rushed for like 600, but he threw 26 or 27 TDs with only 4 INTS?

he's the closest argument you're going to have

Or a guy like Mike Vick that CARRIED a team on his shoulders like he did the year VT played FSU in the Sugar Bowl.

HE didnt have the numbers Young had, but he was easily the most dynamic player in college football that year, and maybe in the last 10 years.

not close to young as a passer his final year

quote:

Or a guy like Tommie Frazier that ran the option a lot more than Young, but still threw 18 TD's his SR year(6INTS) and ran for another 800 with 16 more TD's?

He wouldn't be in my top 50. Miami was F'n stacked when he played for them. I probably could have won the Big East as their QB back then.

Their impact on their teams and college football was just as high, if not higher than Vince Young.

I dont even think that is debatable.

With the most future NFL pro-bowl lineup ever surrounding him.

So a 2 time All American that basically was the main threat of an offense that put up numbers wasnt good? And who is to say that an O Lineman rated as one of the best ever coming out, should not be conisidered a great player? My last comment about other position players.

But I will still say Steve Young was the better college QB than Vince Young.
