I'm not a Broncos fan but I am Drew Lock fan.

I haven't really followed Mizzou grad Drew Lock since he entered the NFL but today I watched the highlights from his first NFL start against the Bolts and I was mildly impressed. I've never wanted a kid to succeed from Mizzou as much as Drew Lock....maybe Chase Daniel. When you listen to him talk with the sports jockeys you find he's about as humble as they come...very similar to Tim Tebow in his demeanor. His unassuming persona is everything I want in a pro athlete. Drew seems to understand his place in this great mystery of life and he understands he is blessed....I really like his attitude about life and football.

Today Drew got his shot as a starter for the much hated Denver Broncos (if you're a Chiefs fan) and he did okay, 2 TD's and 1 INT, nothing off the charts great but he didn't let the moment get too big and in the end with the game tied the coach let him throw the deep ball and with seconds remaining and he got the PI call on a 50 yard bomb....it set up a game winning FG. My hope for the fans from the great state of Missouri, the fans from Mizzou...and fans of the SEC is he's a successful NFL QB. Every time a player from the SEC is a successful NFL player it benefits the conference because it highlights the competition that exists in this great conference....which is unlike any conference in America.

We did this with Daniel Jones and Kyle Allen.

We just need to give these guys some time before we start leaning a way or another

How did I miss this? Wow. Please point me to where I said anything related to that. I am married with kids...not that it matters
