Hmm... or maybe a commercial in a box while the game keeps playing... or a natural break in the game...

There's gotta be a better way for sponsors to fit in without stopping the game.

There's probably been hundreds of people fired for discussing such!

No. No commercials except at halftime. Period.

NFL games have way too many commercial breaks. It seems the 2 minute warning was just created to have a commercial break.

Yeah, I really think that's the reason audio isn't very big right now. They still struggle to keep the profanity off the airwaves as it is and the players don't even have mics. Imagine if the whole world could see what these guys are really saying down there. The NFL would turn into an 18+ only event.

They need to implement forms of social media so they can interact with the fans. Of course they would have to filter out all posts with profanity and criticisms of Vern.

And basically they need to watch the game so they know what is going on.

If you really want to make it intresting (would never happen though)

Mic every player and coach on the sideline, then have a mandated 5 year waiting period (so it doesnt ruin team chemistry or anything) and then release the recordings to the fans on either a DVD thing or PPV. Charge a big smount of money to get full access to it (100 bucks?)

Fans go crazy for shite like that especially in a Superbowl winning year for their team (or a drama filled losing season)

Coaches would hate it but it would be intresting

I would give the audience the option of using a mute button for color commentators. Also, I would give viewers the option of paying extra money to hear the sounds of the game live instead of going to commercial. If the audience got to hear what the coaches and players are saying on the field, it would make watching the game a more interactive experience and give the audience the opportunity to hear the coaches address questions and critiques about certain play calls after they happen.

I can't watch an NFL game or NBA game without a DVR.
