They got a bye last year by playing nearly completely mistake free football and having a monst running game in turner. That online is gone and turner is done. They can't rely on Ryan to carry the team and they're about to get passed by Carolina.

I never understood why they added a second round pick to the trade package. If you look at the trade value chart, two 1st round picks and two 4th round picks should have been more than enough to get Julio. They could have used that second round pick to pick up Kelvin Sheppard or Jurrell Casey or another defensive player that could have really helped their team.

I don't think this was a very good trade. The falcons could use some help in other places. As a saints fan, I am happy they are stupid or at least not as stupid as the saints for only wasting an additional first rounder for Ingram. They both were overvalued; not surprising since coaches in the NFL actually believe NS gets players ready for the NFL even though he's a proven failure in the nfl.
