Only reason you think Auburn is better is that they are from the SEC.
Neither are that good, but they are huge rivals. At least ama got 5 days rest too and played a shitty arse team in Charleston Chattanooga.
UT played a bad but still middle tier FBS team in Kansas and then turned around and played A&M on 4 days rest.
