Does Mike Brown claim a ring?

I think it would piss him off. Especially since he was so close to playing in the playoffs. Sure he would claim it, celebrate with the team, and all that good stuff....but he wouldn't be just ok with #6*.

Will Rasheed Wallace claim one if the Knicks win?

If the lakers make a respectable playoff appearance how awkward does the kobe situation get. I've long suspected Dwight/pau was infinitely more important than Kobe.

Okay, we all agree that he'd definitely claim it.
What do you guys think about how it would compare to MJ's?
well, you are just on a warpath to tarnish the legacy of Kobe today aren't you?
I don't recall reading any tweets or quotes from Kobe claiming the 6th ring already. Link?
Kobe is fresh out the hospital from having his achilles repaired. To most that is a career ending injury.
Pretty tough blow to someone who has spent their entire lives focussing on basketball.
Can you cut him a little slack? No need in shitting on his legacy before he's officially retired.
you'll have plenty of time to throw out stats and your opinion on here about how much you hate Kobe, once he is actually retired.

No. It was more important for D'Antoni to realize he cant play fast and have Pau hanging out around the 3 point line.

Well yes this is true as well. I'm not sure how Kobe fits in exactly but the point is this team has to focus on what it has. Two of the very best low post players in the league. That hasn't felt like the strategy of this team much this year.

Steve Blake took 20 shots last night, the most by any Laker

I agree that the team should use that strength...but Kobe is one of the very best wing players in the league (one of the best, period).

I'm not trying to tarnish anything by Kobe.
